Meet The Horses

  • Spinner

    The Heartbeat of Spirit Mountain

Spinner is the soul horse and foundation of Spirit Mountain Healing Services. A 17-year-old Arabian/Morgan cross gelding, he brings a beautiful blend of wisdom, sensitivity, and playfulness to every session. With his expressive eyes and quirky personality, Spinner has a special way of making people feel both seen and safe.

He can be curious one moment, cautious the next—stubborn when he needs to set a boundary, and incredibly soft when your heart needs comfort. His unpredictably honest nature invites those around him to drop their masks and simply be real.

Spinner carries a special legacy, too. He’s the last son of Moa-Shah-Re, the beloved daughter of Michelle’s very first horse—making him part of a lineage of love that began when Michelle was just 13 years old.

One of Spinner’s greatest gifts is his uncanny ability to show up exactly as you need him to. Whether you need a moment of stillness, a nudge of courage, or a little laughter, he seems to know—offering what your spirit needs, right on time.

To know Spinner is to be invited into presence, truth, and healing. He’s not just a horse—he’s a partner in transformation.

  • Tenacity

A Wise and Wonderfully Expressive Soul

Tenacity is Spinner’s full sister and a cherished elder in our healing herd. At 24 years old, this graceful Arabian-Morgan cross brings a depth of presence and emotional honesty that impacts everyone she meets.

Where Spinner might hold back, Tenacity lets it all show. She’s the horse who wears her heart on her sleeve—and that’s exactly what makes her such a powerful guide. Her ability to express emotion so openly invites you to do the same, gently reminding you that it’s okay to feel, to release, and to be fully yourself.

Tenacity has led a rich and varied life, and her experiences have shaped her into a strong, intuitive, and deeply compassionate partner. She meets people where they are, offering quiet strength, fierce grace, and an open heart.

Confident, capable, and full of personality, Tenacity is a shining example of what it means to embrace life with courage and authenticity. She’ll not only mirror your emotions—she’ll walk beside you as you learn to understand and trust them, too.

Tenacity isn’t just her name—it’s her spirit. And she’s here to help you find yours.

  • Bandit

Small in Size, Big in Heart

Bandit may stand only 36 inches tall, but don’t let his size fool you—this 31-year-old miniature horse has a huge heart and an even bigger impact.

With his gentle spirit and wise presence, Bandit has a way of making people feel instantly at ease. His small stature makes him approachable to all ages, and his calm, kind energy invites connection without intimidation. He’s especially gifted at working with those who may feel nervous or unsure—and his adorable face and curious personality often bring smiles before a word is even spoken.

Bandit is a cherished member of our traveling program, spreading healing and hope beyond the ranch. Due to his size and sweet nature, he’s able to visit schools, care centers, and community events, bringing the magic of horse-guided connection wherever he goes.

Whether you meet him at Looking Within Ranch or out in the community, Bandit reminds us that healing doesn’t always come in grand gestures—sometimes it arrives quietly, on four tiny hooves, when we least expect it.

  • Jada

The Little Mare with Big Healing Energy

Jada is the newest (and sassiest!) member of our Spirit Mountain herd—and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her. This five-year-old miniature mare came to us from nearby Chino Valley and quickly stole our hearts with her curious spirit and loving energy.

Standing just 36 inches tall, Jada may be small, but her impact is mighty. She has a natural gift for equine-assisted learning and therapy, often helping people uncover the hidden “blind spots” that may be holding them back. Her keen intuition and clear feedback make her a gentle yet powerful teacher in the arena.

Jada absolutely loves attention and is happiest when she’s connecting with others—whether that’s through a quiet moment of stillness or a playful nuzzle. She brings a youthful spark to the herd and reminds us that healing can be both insightful and joyful.

With her big brown eyes and vibrant energy, Jada is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the smallest among us carry the biggest gifts. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Spirit Mountain family.
